Red Robin Gourmet Burgers restaurants today introduce the Burnin’ Love Burger, hoping to bring a little winter thaw to tastebuds. The build includes a cayenne-season beef patty, fried jalapeno rings, salsa, pepper-Jack cheese, shredded lettuce and tomato slices. There’s a little more heat punch in the jalapeno-cornmeal-dusted kaiser roll and the chipotle mayo.
Red Robin knows that the best remedy for customers’ winter doldrums is a burger with some peppery zing. Diners return for a flavor thrill ride.
Also joining the menu is a Southwest Ancho Chicken Salad that delivers its own kick. An ancho-grilled chicken breast sits on tossed greens with avocado-ranch dressing and a pile of goodness: black beans, corn, grape tomatoes and pepper-Jack and Cheddar cheeses. The fried jalapeno rings make a comebacck, along with avocado slices, cilantro and tortilla strips.
