Exclusive: McDonald’s Mac Snack Wrap TV Commercial
[1/8/10 Update: See the TV commercial for the Mac Snack Wrap U.S. introduction here.]
Since BurgerBusiness.com first ran the news about the McDonald’s Mac Snack Wrap introduction in Canada last month, the most frequently asked questions have been “How many calories?” and “Can we see the TV commercial?” We hate to disappoint, so we added the nutrition details (350 calories, 21 grams of fat) to the original post.
Satisfying the hunger for a glimpse of the Canadian TV commercial supporting the Big Mac/Snack Wrap hybrid has been tougher, but BurgerBusiness.com is happy to provide visitors with an exclusive (for now!) showing of ”Exclamation Mark,” one of the TV spots our neighbors to the north are enjoying along with their Mac Snack Wraps. Next question?
Can't keep track of all the new menu additions? Check the
No more questions from me. Thanks for posting the spot.

Danny Smith!! I love him! I wish we had the commercial!
I like to get double cheeseburgers off the dollar menu and put lettuce and mac sauce on them! Better than putting a burger in a frickin tortilla.
I know this off topic but it’s bugging me. In the beginning of the message the speaker said “mmmm…subject, new Mac Snack Wrap…exclamation mark …(it’s the next word I’m wanting to know what is said??? Sounds like arkatarium??? What is the word he uses???
Thanks
Yep, that’s confused several people. He says, “…Semi-colon, right bracket.” In other words, ;). That’s why when his assistant doesn’t understand, he says “A winky face.”
I think he says “something return” just can’t figure out what that something is
I have also been perplexed at what he says….I think it may be “exclaimation mark hard return”
OK. Time to end all the confusion. A transcript of the commercial can be read at http://www.burgerbusiness.com/wp-content/uploads/snackwraptext.doc.
hah im glaad i found this site,i thought he said “exclamation mark…arbritarium” but i couldnt find a definition for tht word..but then i had an argument (in fun of course) tht what ur all sayin is a winky face i thought was winky phrase
We’re glad you found us, too.
This comercial is stupid, any geek in his right mind would know a winkey face when they see one…
its like showing a puck to a hockey player and him asking what it is.
so can someone tell me what the difference between a “return” and a “hard return” is?
You bet. It’s the difference between Enter (hard return) and Shift+Enter; i.e. the difference between a new paragraph and next line/flush left.
Who is the black guy? His voice is so familiar it’s driving me nuts!!
What has he been in before??
The actor is Eugene Clark.
I’m glad I’m not the only one crazy enough to wonder what that word is. My concern is that there seems to be another syllable in the commercial . hard return is 3.. the word sounds like 5?
thoughts?
oh nevermind, I can hear it now. lol
is the white guy T. Ryan Mooney? the guy from the stride commercial gettin ramed by a ram?
I am not sure if anybody else realized when he says semi colon and a right bracket. But to get a twinky face, you have to type a “Colon” and a right bracket but not a “semi colon”. It just bugs me.
The phrase is “winky face” not “twinky face.” In order for it to be winking, a semi-colon is needed. So no need to be bugged!
