BurgerBusiness Poll: Whose Ad Slogan Reigns Supreme?

httpvh://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvEY7xdYnAo Sonic’s decision to review its ad account and incumbent Barkley’s choice not to defend it means a new agency, new advertising are in the offing for the No. 4 burger chain. The latest incarnation of its slogan, “Sonic good.” (at left), is pretty toothless, but at least it was a slogan. Many chains—Hardee’s, Carl’s Jr. and Five Guys among them—seem to have given up crafting a memorable positioning line for their advertising. That’s unfortunate for a category that has given us “Have it your way,” “Hot ‘n juicy,” “You deserve a break today” and other classic lines.

Let’s give some guidance to whichever ad shop takes on the Sonic brand. Which burger chain’s ad slogan is the most likable, memorable and persuasive? I know those are three qualities, but which one slogan works best for you?
