At the midpoint of the London Olympics, we take a breath and offer two glimpses of the Games via its official restaurant sponsor. One is the latest commercial (left) in the £10 million “We all make the Games” campaign from Leo Burnett London saluting non-athlete participants. The other (right) is a look inside the world’s largest McDonald’s, a 20-register mega-restaurant with a staff of 500 constructed at the Olympic Village. The company says customer traffic is running at double its expectations.
