You can disagree, if you wish, with Midwest Living magazine’s list of the 25 best burgers in the region. The glory of the business is that there are enough great burger joints to let everyone have a different list. But you can’t fault the editors’ efforts. They looked hard. These 25 were culled from 130 finalists, they didn’t just rely on the familiar names. Blanc Burgers + Bottles, of course, is a two-time winner of the BurgerBrackets, but there are several here with which I’m unfamiliar but eager to try, which, to me, makes it a good list. Feel free to leave a comment and say who was sadly left out.

Although I agree with the Thurmanator in Columbus Ohio, Joe Rouer’s Bar in Green Bay Wisconsin(Luxemburg) is worth an honorable mention. They call them high maintenance hamburgers….
You have got to try the Studio Grill Restaurant in Kalamazoo, Michigan. They have THE BEST burgers in the Midwest. Every burger is stuffed with anything you want or they have about 22 burgers already on their menu. It’s definately worth it.
